Twelve Hours One Paradise!

After over twelve hours on the road—we finally arrived at our destination point for the night: the charming 'Night in Paradise' homestay https://maps.app.goo.gl/wwHigqx48sQnwX4A8. Warmly welcomed by a young, spirited team headed by Anup Rawat, and a warm bonfire ready for us- the fatigue melted almost instantly.

At 9 PM, under the carpet of a starlit sky and in near-freezing temperatures, they led us to the hot springs by the Yamuna river. The contrast was surreal—icy air and steaming water, the perfect culmination to a long day. The warmth soaked into our bones and left us in quiet gratitude.

The next morning began at the garam kund again, this time under the rising sun. As we explored further into the landscape, we came upon Narad Kund, where Narad Muni is said to have performed his Tapasya. The spring here is still very much alive—so hot we cooked rice in it, an offering and a delight.

Nearby, we spotted wild linguda—a local fern rich in nutrients and completely untouched by chemicals. It later became part of our lunch: fresh, grounding, and nourishing—a true gift of the Himalayas.

Our path then led to a hidden Radha-Krishna temple, ancient and serene, where a powerful Shivaling rests. We paused for a moment of silence—and a warm conversation—with a visiting Sadhu, adding yet another layer of connection to this sacred terrain.
